St Paul's Church offering tower tours at Heritage Open Day

Looking for something fun and unique to do this weekend? St Paul’s Church on Springfield Road is opening its doors for a special Heritage Open Day on Saturday (14 September).

Remember: only take a tour up the tower if you're comfortable with heights! © St Paul's Church

The event is perfect for families, history enthusiasts and anyone curious about the beautiful local landmark.

The main attraction? Tower tours! For one day only, visitors will have the rare chance to climb the tower and enjoy stunning views across Sale and beyond. The tower tours are bound to be popular, so if you're up for the adventure, be sure to grab a ticket early as they’re limited and only available on the day. Just remember, it’s a climb with spiral steps, no handrails and low ceilings, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

Beyond the tower tours, there’s plenty to enjoy for all ages. Refreshments will be available, along with face painting and crafts for younger visitors, making it a perfect family outing.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore one of Sale’s historical gems and enjoy a new perspective on the town!
