Life of Riley Medical Aesthetics celebrates first birthday
Local medical aesthetics business, Life of Riley, is marking its first anniversary this weekend.

The business is based at Salon Girlcode on Cross Street and was founded 12 months ago by Anna Riley, a registered nurse with 15 years of NHS experience and eight years in aesthetics.
To celebrate this special milestone, Anna is inviting the local community to stop by the salon for a slice of cake and a glass of Prosecco on Saturday (14 September), offering a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to join in the festivities.
Reflecting on the past year, Anna shared with Life in Sale, "I’ve had such a lovely welcome to the Sale community over the last 12 months, and whilst this year hasn’t been without its challenges, I’m really excited to see where Life of Riley goes next. I’ve met some really wonderful people here and I’m really proud of how my little business has grown."
Anna’s journey has not been without its hurdles. In May this year, she lost her father, which meant stepping away from her business for several weeks. However, she expressed immense gratitude for the support she received during that difficult time. "The kindness I was shown from colleagues and clients was incredible, and I’m so grateful for their support," she said.
Anna, who previously worked as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the NHS, offers a range of medical aesthetic and skin treatments at Life of Riley, including anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, skin boosters and vitamin injections. Although she no longer works in the NHS, she still views her role in aesthetics as an extension of her nursing career. "I love making people feel better, in whichever way that may be, and although I’m no longer working clinically in the NHS, I am still very much a nurse," she added.
Looking ahead, Anna is excited about the future of her business and is eager to explore new treatments and connect with other independent wellness businesses in the area. "I’d love to connect with other independent business owners in the area that provide wellness services to see how we can work together," she said.
