Flair Boutique and Florence & Vera Events, both based in Emporium M33 on Tatton Road, are no strangers to collaboration. The owners, Anna Barker of Flair Boutique and Kate Bader of Florence & Vera Events, have successfully worked together on events in the past at the Emporium. Now, they are joining forces once again to introduce the Saturday Social.

For Anna Barker, this event has been a long-awaited dream. She said, "The last few years have thrown up a variety of challenges for small local businesses, and a pre-pandemic idea I had to host an event at Mano a Bocca had to be put on hold. When Kate approached me to collaborate on an event again, it was a great opportunity to bring both our ideas to life at a wonderful local business in celebration of how far each of our businesses has come despite the testing times we have gone through. We want to bring the local community together for a fun and sociable afternoon."

Kate added, "It's been a busy few months for Florence & Vera, planning, supporting and styling many weddings. It is amazing to be back in the flow of events again. I have some exciting plans, and as a Sale-based business, I am looking forward to celebrating at the Saturday Social on 11 November."

Saturday Social tickets cost £40 and the event will run from 12 to 4pm, with a welcome drink on arrival, a two-course Mano a Bocca lunch and a fashion show by Flair Boutique. The venue will be styled by Florence & Vera Events and entertainment will be provided by DJ James and DJ Dobby, another local business.

This inaugural Saturday Social is a chance to get your friends together, enjoy good food, fashion and music and celebrate the strength that our brilliant local businesses have displayed during some very challenging times.
