Ian Roberts will be joined by former Heart and Capital presenter Faye Bamford, who joins the weekday drivetime show on the station from 29 April.

Faye Bamford has been a broadcaster in the North West for over 20 years, born in Preston and now lives with her husband and two children in Stockport.

Bamford joins the station’s noteworthy heritage radio presenter lineup which also includes: Steve Penk, Darren Proctor, Sam Walker, Spence Macdonald, Chelsea Norris and many more well-known radio personalities from the region, playing the songs that make you smile from 70s music right up to current hits.

Happy Radio UK co-owners Darren Proctor and Max Eden said: “In the past two years since we’ve launched, the response to the station has just been incredible and proves that there has and always will be a want for great radio in the North West!

“We’re really excited for Faye Bamford to join our incredible presenter lineup and join the Happy Radio family!”

With DAB radio coverage across the North West, Happy Radio UK iOS is also available on Freeview TV (Channel 277), available to stream online, on your smart speaker and the Happy Radio UK app on both iOS and Android.
