Flock, a high-end salon for hair and beauty in Sale
A new hair and beauty salon has opened in Sale town centre, promising a “high-end but not intimidating” atmosphere.

Flock Salon opened in Stanley Square, Sale today (16 August) and will be home to a number of hair, beauty and skincare professionals.
Life-long friends and Sale residents Charlotte Dobson and Shelley Rimmer – both hair stylists – and experienced beauty therapist Julia Knight have joined forces to create their dream space in M33.

Having previously worked at salons in Manchester and across the northwest, Flock is the trio's first own salon space.
"We haven't worked together before," said Shelley.
"But we've been friends for 30 years and have talked a lot about setting up on our own, it was just about finding the right place to do it. And with the development of Stanley Square, as we all live in Sale, it felt like the right space for us."
Charlotte continued: "We're a high-end salon, which I think offers something different to the area – we want to bring an inner city salon environment to the suburbs.
"We think that will make us stand out in a fairly crowded market."
Clients can expect a spacious salon, complete with salon dog, Kitty, and a "cool, but relaxed and welcome" vibe throughout their visit. The salon is unisex and inclusive and is open to all looking for hair and/or beauty treatments.
Flock is also a space for freelance salon professionals to work, those looking for a co-working salon that allows them to set their own working hours.
"We have space for four freelancers at any one time," said Charlotte.
"We have a beauty room and are currently looking for a nail technician. On the days we are closed - Sundays and Mondays - we hope to use the space for training purposes and in the future we're keen to host cool pop-up events on Sundays, to coincide with the monthly Makers' Market."
The salon offers a range of hair styling and colour services, plus an array of grooming for all, including manicures, waxing, facial treatments and semi-permanent makeup.
Julia said: “My grooming treatments are available to absolutely everybody – we are a unisex, inclusive space where everyone is welcome.”
