After a summer of anticipation, Wood Fire Smoke has confirmed its Sale opening date.

The Neapolitan pizza restaurant will open on Friday (20 September).

Back in May, we first reported on the exciting news that Wood Fire Smoke would be opening in Stanley Square, in the unit previously occupied by Rigatoni's, which closed earlier this year. At the time, the pizzeria was expected to open in July, but as with many things in the hospitality world, there’s been a slight delay.

The team at Wood Fire Smoke has taken the extra time to ensure everything is just right, including the installation of their Italian-imported woodfired oven – the heart of their pizza-making magic. The restaurant features cosy booth seating, perfect for enjoying a slice (or several) with friends and family.

This new addition to Sale’s food scene is set to bring the traditions and artistry of Naples to town. Known for their “perfectly bready, chewy and flavour-filled” pizzas with just the right hint of char, Wood Fire Smoke already has a strong reputation in Cheshire, where they operate restaurants in Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Congleton.

Make sure to visit from this Friday and beyond. Our review coming soon! 🍕
