Sale-based design company The Sculpts launches Christmas elves’ ‘wish’ list
Sale-based homewares company, The Sculpts is acting as Santa’s elves this year, by launching a Christmas ‘wish’ list for loyal fans who want to be sure of getting that special something under the tree.

Staff have been inundated with people who want their friends and family to buy them Christmas presents from the Stanley Square store, and director Jade King is determined to help ensure fans of the company’s designs get the perfect gift in their Christmas stockings.
The home of the Northern Alphabet ceramic tile series, The Sculpts create beautiful ceramic homewares and luxurious textiles that celebrate Manchester’s history, heritage and culture as the first great city of the industrial age.
Director Jade King says: “We’ve had so many customers say that they want their friends and family to know they want something from us for Christmas. In most cases, it isn’t that they want an expensive gift, they’re just wishing for that something they’ve seen and fallen in love with.
“We realised we could help by keeping a list of what they like. Then, if someone wants to buy a lovely gift for them, or is sent to our shop to choose something, we can help them find the perfect present within their budget to put under the tree. We also have gift cards of any value, for those who want to let others choose their own gift. Everybody’s happy!”

Alongside their Northern Alphabet range, The Sculpts have some exciting new designs and handmade homewares, in time for Christmas, which made it into our ‘shop small in Sale’ gift guide for Christmas.
The Sculpts’ Honeycomb Bee and Citrus Vulgaris patterns bring to life handmade, bone china cups, saucers, jugs and scented candles. Honeycomb Bee showcases bees amongst branches, leaves and flowers, with golds and greens offset by black and yellow. The Citrus Vulgaris design is a chaos of vibrant green leaves and branches, punctuated with the orange ‘pop’ of bright citrus fruit.
Hopeful recipients can register their favourite products on the ‘wish list’ in the Stanley Square shop and, if a friend or relative buys something from the list, staff will ensure they don’t get two of the same thing.
