Sale to host its first-ever So Hong Kong Full Moon Market

Sale is set to experience a vibrant cultural event this weekend, as its first So Hong Kong Full Moon Market comes to town on Sunday 08 September.

Organised by Trafford Hongkongers CIC and Moliuliu’s Store, this open market will transform Stanley Square and School Road into a bustling hub of activity, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Full Moon Festival.

With 57 stalls, the So Hong Kong Full Moon Market promises a rich and varied experience for visitors. Stanley Square will play host to 27 stalls, while another 28 will line School Road, offering everything from traditional Hong Kong handicrafts to mouth-watering food.

Visitors can sample a wide range of Hong Kong food, explore beautifully crafted goods and learn more about the various community organisations involved.

Tony Martin, general manager at Stanley Square, expressed his excitement about the event, commenting, "We are delighted to be working with Trafford Hongkongers CIC in bringing the first market of its kind to Stanley Square and Sale town centre.

“The So Hong Kong Full Moon Market is a celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, and there will be lots of food, crafts, and community groups for visitors to enjoy."
