Sally Beauty announces closure
Sale is set to lose another local business next month as Sally Beauty has announced its closure after almost 20 years.
The Stanley Square shop will shut its doors for the final time on Wednesday 09 October 2024. The announcement follows a series of local business closures, marking a difficult period for Sale's retail and hospitality sectors.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the team at Sally Beauty expressed their gratitude, saying:
“Our last trading day will be Wednesday 9th October. We just want to take this time to thank all of our amazing customers who have shopped with us over the years, and we are internally grateful for you🫶🏻and the @stanleysquaresale staff and employees who make working here so special❤️."
The team reassured customers that they still have time to take advantage of the remaining offers before the shop closes, saying:
"We still have amazing offers on for you over the next coming weeks, and if you need to stock up before close, we are here to help‼️ Love from Chelsea and Kerry💕🫶🏻Xx."
Famous for its makeup and hair products, Sally has made a name for itself worldwide as a popular high-street hair and beauty brand.
This closure is yet another blow to Sale’s business community, as residents have seen several businesses in the area shut down in recent weeks, including Greens. Sally Beauty has been somewhat of a staple in Stanley Square and its departure leaves a gap in Sale's local retail offering.
However, it’s important to remember that business closures are just as much a part of the town's growth story as the new ones we report about regularly. New Sale openings that we are excited about include Bibble Bakes, GAIL’s Bakery and Fibber Magee’s. Try to see the positive!
