Trafford Registration Services, Trafford Libraries and Waterside Arts are set to hold the open day on Saturday 14 October to introduce unique indoor and outdoor event spaces that have been licensed for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies.

If you've ever dreamt of a wedding or event that breaks free from the conventional, mark your calendar for this must-attend occasion.

This open day is an opportunity to explore innovative spaces that have been newly licensed for ceremonies. The Plaza, the theatre inside Waterside and even some council and library areas have all received the official nod to host wedding ceremonies.

The event will showcase a variety of local businesses, including Mano a Bocca, Grip Adventure, Diddibox Flowers, Kate McCarthy Photography, Florence & Vera Events and more. On the day, you will meet a roster of local talents who are passionate about making your special day uniquely yours.

The aim of this event is to cater to those who are looking for alternatives to traditional church and hotel venues. By focusing on local independent suppliers, couples can make their big day more affordable and make sure it reflects their personality and style.

In addition to showcasing these unique spaces and talented suppliers, the event will include a DJ to set the mood with tunes, local musician Mike Braye, who will serenade you with an acoustic set and activities and crafts for children.

Whether you're planning a wedding or a unique event, this open day is your chance to discover what’s available locally.
