According to the Council, the implementation of all schemes is subject to weather conditions and homeowners will be notified in advance of the upcoming works.

Certain roads will undergo resurfacing and reconstruction procedures, which involve the application of a new surface layer to enhance the quality of the road.

Meanwhile, other roads will undergo surface dressing, a preventive measure designed to waterproof the current surface and improve skid resistance. This treatment is also intended to prevent the formation of cracks and potholes, ensuring that the road remains in good condition for an extended period.

Cllr Stephen Adshead, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Environmental Services, said: “I’m delighted that Trafford Council is continuing to invest in protecting in the road network – one of the borough’s most valuable assets.
