With weekly walks in 11 locations across Trafford, including Walton Park, Woodheys Park, Sale Water Park and the River Mersey in Sale, there’s a route for everyone. Whether you’re new to walking or simply looking for a social way to stay active, these walks offer a great opportunity to improve fitness, meet new people and discover hidden green spaces right on your doorstep.

Each walk is led by a trained walk leader who ensures a safe and enjoyable experience. Walk leaders discuss any individual needs before setting off and provide support along the way. Plus, with options for both shorter and longer walks, participants can go at a pace that suits them.

It’s not just about the exercise – socialising is a key part of the experience. Every walk finishes with the chance to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in a friendly setting, giving walkers time to chat with others.

If you’re looking for an accessible, enjoyable way to get more active, why not give Trafford Wellbeing Walks a try? It’s free to join and you might just find a new favourite walking spot!
