Remembrance Sunday service taking place in Sale

A Remembrance Sunday service will take place in Sale on 12 November.

Residents are invited to attend the service to remember the men and women who gave their lives in both world wars and in more recent conflicts.

The Leader of Trafford Council, Cllr Tom Ross, and the Mayor, Cllr Dolores O’Sullivan, will be attending services along with other civic dignitaries.

A spokesperson for Trafford Council said: “Remembrance Sunday gives us the opportunity to pay our respects to the men and women who have died or been injured serving the country. Services will be taking place across the borough and we are encouraging as many people as possible to attend.”
