Poundland to return to Sale’s Stanley Square

Stanley Square has announced it will be welcoming discount retailer Poundland once again.

Stanley Square confirmed the arrival of Poundland on a social media post earlier today (17 October), which said: 

“After years of successful trading in Sale town centre, we were sorry to see Wilkos (sic) go but we’re delighted to announce that Poundland is returning to Stanley Square.

“As always, they’ll be offering all the top brands and great quality own-brand products that you love, ranging from food & drink, health & beauty, household, gardening, DIY, stationery, books, and toys all at amazing prices.

“We can’t wait to welcome Poundland back into the Stanley Square community

“Make sure to keep checking in on our socials to find out their opening date.”

The Square is currently home to a mix of high-street retailers and independent shops, including WH Smith, The Sculpts and Style Agent. 

The new Poundland store will be taking over the unit previously occupied by Wilko following its closure last month. It is set to open on Saturday 21 October.
