GMP wants to speak to the man in the picture above, which was released this morning (03 September).

It follows an incident on Wednesday 15 May 2024, which saw a victim assaulted on a bus home from Sale High School in Sale, M33. GMP says the victim was slapped in the face at some time between 3.30pm and 3.45pm that day.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident. The photo released today appears to show a man in work clothing sat on a bus.

Detectives believe he could hold important information in their investigation. Anyone who recognises the man is urged to come forward.

Information can be passed on to police by calling 101, quoting log number 2413 of 15 May 2024 or crime number CRI/06A3/0009891/24.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
