PeePS marks first year of transforming children's lives in Sale and beyond

This week marks a special milestone for Pee Paediatric Services (PeePS), a local children’s bladder clinic in Sale, as it celebrates its first anniversary

Cheryl Jennings founded PeePs in September 2023.

Over the past 12 months, the clinic has become a lifeline for families across Trafford and Greater Manchester, addressing a critical yet often overlooked area of paediatric health – children’s bladder issues.

Founded by Cheryl Jennings, an experienced clinical nurse practitioner with over 23 years in paediatric urology, PeePS has made a significant impact on the lives of many young patients. Specialising in conditions including overactive bladders, bedwetting and daytime wetting, the clinic offers much-needed support to children aged 5 to 17, empowering them to overcome their challenges and lead fuller, happier lives.

Reflecting on the clinic’s first year, Cheryl expressed her pride in establishing the only dedicated children’s bladder clinic in the Sale and Trafford area: “Watching so many children transform through our services has been incredibly rewarding. We’re breaking the silence around bladder issues and offering families the help they’ve needed for so long. It’s wonderful to know we’re making a real difference in the lives of these children, giving them the confidence to thrive without the weight of bladder challenges holding them back.”

The children’s bladder control clinic is located on Marsland Road in Sale.

Over the past year, PeePS has offered a comprehensive range of services, from initial consultations and assessments to ongoing reviews and medication prescriptions if necessary. The clinic’s approach is not just about providing immediate relief but also about equipping families with the tools and education needed to manage and overcome these issues long-term.

As PeePS enters its second year, Cheryl remains committed to expanding the clinic's reach and continuing her work in raising awareness about the importance of early intervention. She hopes that even more families will feel empowered to seek help and start their child’s journey toward a happier, healthier future.
