Full schedule: ‘Paint Sale & Ashton on Mersey Pink’ 2024 launch event

Sale will turn pink this weekend, as the two-week charity initiative ‘Paint Sale & Ashton on Mersey Pink’ launches.

Campaign volunteers have been working with local charity Prevent Breast Cancer, based at the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital and the charity’s ambassadors, to encourage the town’s businesses to get involved.

The campaign will run 04 - 18 May 2024 and a programme of fundraising and awareness events will kickstart with a special launch event this Saturday (04 May) at Stanley Square in Sale town centre.

The launch event takes place between 11.30am-3pm, includes performances from local dance schools, a fitness class, a poetry workshop and musical performances from Sale Youth Choir.

Other family-friendly event highlights include face painting with Everything4 and a craft workshop from Love to Craft MCR.

The Paint Sale and Ashton on Mersey Pink fortnight is all about raising awareness and raising some funds for the charity, but it’s also about having some fun. Show your support as much as possible and enjoy the events!
