Mediterranean cuisine restaurant Masis announces closure

Masis' Armenian Restaurant on Brooklands Road has announced it will be closing at the end of April after eight years.

30 April is the last chance to dine at the Sale restaurant.

The restaurant announced its intended closure via a short note on its website and Facebook page. It said:

“To all our valued customers,

“We are sorry to announce due to unforeseen circumstances our last day of trading will be the 30th of April 2023.

“Best wishes from all the team at Masis' Armenian Restaurant and thankyou [sic] for all your continued support over the past 8 years.”

Unfortunately, experts predict more hospitality closures as fallout from the pandemic, staffing issues and the cost of living crisis wreak havoc across the UK. We’re hearing more anecdotal evidence from local restaurants, bars and cafes that are failing to bounce back – and with many customers saying they’ve had to cut back on luxuries including dinners and drinks out, it’s likely that more closures are set to keep on coming.
