Mano a Bocca bids farewell after five great years
Sale is saying goodbye to one of its most beloved pizza restaurants, Mano a Bocca, after nearly five years of serving up mouth-watering Romana pizzas at Waterside Plaza.
Known for its spacious, family-friendly atmosphere and passion for fresh, thin-crust pizzas, the restaurant has become a go-to for locals, whether dining in or grabbing a bite before a show at Waterside.
The team, led by William and Michael, announced the closure on social media, thanking the Sale community for their incredible support since their opening in 2019. From hosting celebrations to partnering with Waterside for events like Pride in Trafford and ‘Sunday Social’, Mano a Bocca has been at the heart of Sale’s vibrant social scene.
Mano a Bocca prided itself on catering to all tastebuds, offering everything from smoked pepperoni sausage to inventive vegan options like their broccoli pizza on a butternut squash base. Whether you were a veggie, vegan, meat-lover or gluten-free, the restaurant made sure everyone could enjoy a slice of Rome right here in M33.
The final day of service will be Sunday 13 October and the team is inviting as many locals as possible to dine with them one last time.
As Sale continues to grow with new openings on the horizon, we can take a moment to celebrate the special role Mano a Bocca has played in our town’s food scene. It’s all part of the ebb and flow of a community on the rise – one we’re grateful Mano a Bocca has been part of for the last five years.
Also, a huge shoutout to the team at Mano a Bocca; the customer service is always outstanding in our experience. We wish the team all the best for the future.
Buon appetito, Sale! Let’s make sure Mano a Bocca goes out with the bang they deserve.
