Manchester Marathon seeking local volunteers for April race
The Manchester Marathon is looking for volunteers to help make the 2024 race run smoothly.

Taking place on Sunday 14 April, the adidas Manchester Marathon is the UK's biggest and most popular marathon outside of London, due to its fast, flat course and the unrivalled supporting and welcoming atmosphere, especially round Sale!
The Marathon team is appealing for local volunteers to support the 32,000 participants taking to the streets of Trafford and Manchester to achieve their goal of running a marathon while raising vital funds for charity. The 2023 adidas Manchester Marathon raised over £2.8 million for 634 local and national charities.
None of this would be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who fill a variety of roles including helping to greet arriving runners, assisting with bag drop, managing the starts, marshalling along the running route, handing out water, cheering on runners to the finish or handing out those well-earned medals.
