Cork of the North is to celebrate its 8th birthday in style in March – and you are invited!

Cork of the North on Northenden Road is set to celebrate its eighth anniversary in March. An ‘OG’ of Sale's hospitality sector, Cork of the North will mark another 12 months of business with a special party event on Sunday 17th March.

The Cork of the North team has a lot to celebrate this year, after picking up the 'Food and Drink Retailer of the Year’ award at the Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards 2023.

The birthday party kicks off at 3pm and a selection of special guest DJs will take over the desks to commemorate Cork of the North’s eighth year in M33.

DJs set to play include Martin Moscrop (A Certain Ratio), DJ Tintin (New Order DJ and a certain owner of Cork...) and Jason Boardman (Yellow).

Cork of the North Sale was opened in 2016 by Marc Hough, who had spent some years prior running his own merchant business, sourcing wines from around the world.

Cork of the North was Sale’s first dedicated wine bar and although the nightlife scene has improved in recent years, you’d be hard-pushed to find a better selection of wines in M33.

The party is free entry – just turn up and raise a glass to another successful year of Cork of the North Sale! 🍷
