Altrincham and Sale West General Election 2024 results
Altrincham and Sale West has its first ever Labour Member of Parliament.
The constituency was always going to get a new MP, after Sir Graham Brady announced he was standing down at this election.
Connor Rand, a former Labour organiser and a senior researcher at Usdaw who was only selected as Labour's candidate in May, secured 20,798 votes, a 40.4% share of the vote.

Jane Brophy (Liberal Democrats) - 4,727
Oliver Carroll (Conservative Party) - 16,624
Geraldine Coggins (Green Party) - 3,699
Faisal Kabir (Workers Party of Britain) - 643
Connor Rand (Labour Party) - 20,798
Paul James Swansborough (Reform UK) - 4,961
Turnout was 69.8%, down from 74.9% at the last general election in 2019.
