Sken Studios & Be Diddy Present Mums and Huns

  • 🗓️ Sunday 03 March

  • 🕛 12-3pm

  • 📍 35 Wynnstay Road, Sale M33 7DW

Sken Studios and Be Diddy are swinging open the doors of their Sale studio for a fun-filled event celebrating women.

The event will support and promote sustainable, female-led businesses and is entirely child-friendly.

What are they saying about the event?

Sken will be bringing us the sassiest handmade jewellery (the limited edition vintage-inspired MUM rings will be back), Be Diddy will be serving the best kids/adult vintage around, Carrie from Mere Soeur will be providing us with fab mama merch, Coy Biscuits will be doing live biscuit icing (she's INSANE!) and they'll be beautiful blooms by Leah Shore. All whilst you can sip on a bellini and your kids play in our designated kids’ corner, sounds good right?!

Tickets are free, but limited (and are going fast!), so please grab one to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful illustrated maps of Sale – perfect for M33 mums and grans!

If your mum is an M33-er through and through, she'll adore this illustrated map of Sale from local artist Kate Highmore. There's also an Ashton-on-Mersey map to choose from too.

Psst: These maps are also stocked in No.9 The Loft, one of Sale's best independent shops.

A proper Sunday roast

Check out our guide to the best roast dinners in Sale. And please, please remember: Mother’s Day is likely to be very busy so you MUST book early!

Bottomless brunches and endless lunches

If your mum prefers something a wee bit stronger, The Block & Gasket offers a bottomless boozy brunch (Sunday-Friday £31pp, Saturday £33pp) and at Sale’s Slug & Lettuce you can opt for their ‘endless lunch’ or ‘sip and share’ menu.

A gin gift box she’ll adore

No ‘Mother’s Ruin’ here, if your mam likes a gin tipple, check out Lucky Bee, distilled right here in Sale, M33. If you’re not sure which flavour would be your mum’s favourite, Lucky Bee offers a miniatures box (£15), allowing you to choose three of their gins in 5cl bottles.

You can’t go wrong with flowers

It’s a well-known fact that 99.9% of mums love flowers. But not all bouquets are created equal – she’ll know if you picked up a limp bunch from the garage on the way to see her. You’ve got to go for something of quality. Sale’s lucky to have a host of fantastic florists including The Outhouse Florist (bouquets pictured above), Diddibox Flowers and Ken Fraser. If you’re opting for flowers this Mother’s Day, please choose a local independent!

Relax to the max

Your mum deserves a moment to herself. Lifestyle salon The B Company has a number of Mother’s Day offers to enjoy, including an orange flower facial and hot oil back massage (£35 for one hour).

📍The B Company, 12 Washway Road, Sale M33 7QY
