Off The Hook has become the talk of the town among local vegans – and for good reason. Located on Northenden Road, this spot has all the hallmarks of a classic fish and chip shop – but with a twist that’s turning heads.

While traditionalists can still enjoy cod, scampi and homemade pies, it’s their vegan menu that’s stealing the spotlight. The star of the show? Their vegan fish and chips, made with banana blossom. If you’re unfamiliar, banana blossom is the plant-based answer to battered fish and here it’s served in a generously sized portion that delivers on both flavour and texture. Or, can they tempt you with their battered vegan hot dog with chips instead?
