Co-owned by Josh Aghdam and Ben Hayes, Lift Sale aims to create a close-knit community of like-minded individuals in the pursuit of a healthier and more energetic life.

Why Sale?

Sale, with its burgeoning social scene and close community, serves as the perfect backdrop for Lift Sale's innovative approach to fitness. The owners are keen to get involved in the community, ensuring a slow and steady roll-out to maintain the quality of service.

Josh's journey from training clients in a backyard shed to opening the first gym on Burton Road in Didsbury reflects the passion and dedication that lay the foundation for Lift Sale. With a recent opening of the Lift brand in Hazel Grove, plus longer-term successes at Evo Didsbury and Faction in Heaton Mersey, the opening of a brand new gym in Lift Sale stands as a testament to years of hard work and commitment.

The Lift experience: Bridging the gap

Lift Sale represents the perfect middle ground between group fitness classes and personal training. Josh said: "Our focus is not on drastic transformations but on making weight training accessible to everyone.

"The classes, with a maximum of 12 participants, aim for the sweet spot of around 8 attendees, fostering a sense of community while allowing flexibility in training."

Membership costs

For £159 per month, members gain access to 13 sessions, each carefully crafted and can be adapted to individual needs. One-on-one personal training in private gyms can be very expensive; Lift Sale offers a more affordable yet equally personalised alternative.

If you're keen to try Lift Sale when it opens on 08 January 2024, the gym is offering a 30-day trial for just £99.

The Lift Sale difference

What sets Lift Sale apart is its comprehensive approach to fitness. From training sessions and nutrition to monthly one-on-one check-ins, the co-owners and their team ensure members are held accountable on their fitness journey. The emphasis on affordability attracts a diverse demographic that recognises the importance of weight training for overall physical and mental wellbeing.

With a team of three coaches following the same programme, Lift Sale will offer members a number of sessions per week. A user-friendly app enhances the overall experience, catering to a tech-savvy audience conscious of their spending habits.

Lift Sale welcomes individuals of all fitness levels, from beginners to workout regulars. The gym's commitment to communication ensures a two-way dialogue, where even those with injuries or physical impairments can find life-changing benefits through regular training.

Lift Sale has ambitions to become a community-focused fitness hub that caters to the diverse needs of Sale's residents. With a commitment to inclusivity, affordability and personalised fitness, Lift Sale is poised to redefine the fitness landscape in Sale, one healthy and happy member at a time.
