A Sale mum is relocating her special classes to teach babies to communicate in sign language to a ‘hidden gem’ venue in M33.

Jenni Blackham runs Sale’s TinyTalk and is a mum of two TinyTalkers herself. She started attending TinyTalk after her son, Eddie, was born.

Jenni said, “He picked the signs up quickly and rather than getting upset or cross at not being able to tell me, he told me.

“I signed with Evie, my daughter, from birth and at 20 months she now has nearly 100 signs under her belt, she gets cross much less often as she can tell us all what she wants.”

Jenni is relocating her Sale classes to The Bump and Baby Hideout on Dane Road in Sale. When asked why this particular venue, Jenni said,

“The Hideout is a hidden gem for parents in Sale, they are passionate about supporting parents and offer so much in a beautiful environment.

“TinyTalk supports parents by reducing communication frustrations and having dedicated social time in every class... we fit right in!”

Jenni runs weekly baby and toddler signing and talking sessions and themed classes consist of singing nursery rhymes with appropriate BSL (British Sign Language) signs, sensory activities and social time – for children and parents.

TinyTalk believes that baby signing can play a significant role in helping early communication and language development. Parents who choose to communicate with their children using BSL signs often see a reduction in their child’s frustration levels, as they can more easily tell them what they want.
