Teddy bears to take a leap of faith as they are launched from St Paul’s Church tower

Only the bravest of bears will parachute off the top of St Paul’s church tower later this month, in this fun, family-friendly event.

All gallant bears are invited to take part on Saturday 29 July from 11am to 3pm, with jumps scheduled to happen every 15 minutes.

The teddy bear parachute jump is part of St Paul’s 140th-anniversary celebrations and it is hoped some funds will be raised on the day too.

Everything you need to know

There is no need to book your bear’s jump, simply turn up on the day. St Paul's will provide parachutes and your bear will be given full training ahead of the jump.

£2 per jump and every teddy will receive a ‘Bearavery’ certificate.

If your favourite bear is much too precious to parachute off the tower, don't worry – just bring your bravest!

Please note, there is a size restriction for bears, so no bigger than 60cm in length. St Paul’s has some smaller back-up bears if yours is deemed too big!

This event is weather dependent; if it's too windy or rainy on the day, it will not go ahead.
