On Saturday 22 April, the popular gift and eco shop will host a birthday party for customers to attend.

Originally known as Hall & Hines, the shop opened in April 2018 in a small space in Emporium M33. Since then, the shop has taken a larger spot in the front window of the three-floored community store and, following a rebrand to Shine in 2022, the shop now stocks a wider selection of gifts and eco products.

Claire Hines, owner of Shine, said "I'm really proud that my business has been part of the Sale community for five whole years. We've had so much fun along the way and I plan to have plenty more. I really want to thank my customers for their support so I can't wait for Saturday. It's going to be a day of celebration.

"There's been a lot of bad news and difficult times for small businesses recently so I'm grateful that I get to bring some joy to our town."

Join in the fun at Shine on Saturday 22 April from 10am-5pm.
