UK’s fastest-growing pet start-up to return to Sale

Pets Purest, the UK’s fastest-growing pet start-up brand, is relocating its offices back to where it all began – here in Sale.

Founded by Oli and Evie Bristowe in 2017, the brand was born when Evie’s dogs were suffering from dry itchy skin. Neither she nor Oli could find an effective natural alternative to the mass-produced products found on the high street, which simply weren’t doing the trick. Therein came the inspiration to develop their own.

Sale-born Oli started the business from his bedroom, focusing on a core range of 100 per cent natural products free from any artificial chemicals, synthetic preservatives or fillers.

The brand has grown in popularity in recent years due to the focus on preventative pet health and wellness, with Pets Purest supporting pet owners in making their pet’s well-being part of their daily routine with a range of convenient and effective health supplements. Also offering a range of natural treats and enrichment products, this 100 per cent natural approach has seen them make a significant impact within the pet industry and is reflected in their sustained growth in recent years, winning several awards along the way.

Alongside being named in The Times Top 100 fastest-growing companies for the last two years, Pets Purest have also recently been awarded the Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, one week after being awarded the Small Business Of The Year Award at the British Business Awards.

Oli said: “When we started the business, the idea was to create a range of 100 per cent natural products that improved and enriched the lives of pets up and down the country.

“The whole team that we have built over the last six years are all equally passionate about pet wellbeing and that’s what motivates us to drive the brand forward. Any awards we pick up along the way are great, but that’s not why we do what we do.”

Pets Purest will move from its current offices in Wilmslow back to Sale, where the business was originally founded, early in the new year.

“We try wherever possible to source our products locally and keeping the business local is something that has always been really important to us”, added Oli.

“The team are already excited about the move back to Sale and meeting some new four-legged friends around town in the new year.”

Keep your eyes peeled for the Pets Purest team donning their green hoodies and wandering through Worthington Park in the new year armed with some tasty 100 per cent natural treats. Don’t be scared to approach them, they don’t bite!
