The well-known pub on Britannia Road reopened to the public on Friday 29 March following an exciting six-figure renovation designed to revitalise the existing site and give it a new look and feel. The King's Ransom closed its doors at the end of February and is now welcoming customers again following the completion of major works.

The inside of the pub has received a much-needed makeover to create a “modern, welcoming atmosphere” for locals to enjoy, with enhanced features including new plush furniture, contemporary decoration and upgraded bathrooms. The layout of the venue remains the same as previously, but now also includes space for individuals looking for a place to work, complete with plug sockets.

The layout is divided into zones for different occasions to cater to all guests. The pub also offers Sky Sports and will be showing all major matches for sports fans to enjoy.

The King's Ransom has added a new brunch menu and its large outdoor area overlooking the Bridgewater Canal remains dog-friendly, meaning that those who want to bring their furry friends along for the fun as the weather heats up can do so. For now, the 'barge side' of the outside space remains closed for further works to take place. However, it is hoped that the area will be open in time for summer. It is one of Sale's best pub gardens for sure!
