A fresh start with new ownership

The Boundary, located at Little Ees Lane, Sale, has recently been taken over by a passionate new team eager to bring their flair and dedication to this beloved spot. While the exterior may still be reminiscent of its unique shipping container origins, inside, you'll find a warm and friendly atmosphere that reflects the new owners' commitment to excellence and community engagement.

And don’t miss out on their hot snacks including sausage and bacon barms – perfect for a quick bite during your visit.

The Boundary may be bijou, but its cosy cabin-style interior exudes charm. Inside, a few carefully arranged seats offer a snug retreat, but it’s the outdoor seating gets the most use, especially on warm, sunny days. The ample outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature and provides a welcoming space for both dogs and their owners to relax together.

The café’s unique setting inside a repurposed shipping container adds to its charm, offering a quirky yet comfortable environment that is both practical and inviting.

A hub for the local community

One of the standout features of The Boundary is its ambition to build a community. The café has a small book swap, where customers can exchange books and contribute to a growing communal library. It’s a small, but great way to engage with fellow book lovers and add a bit of literary adventure to your visit!

Located next to Ashton on Mersey Cricket Club, The Boundary is well-situated for a quick coffee stop before or after a game, but it’s open and welcoming to everyone, regardless of whether you’re a cricket fan or not. With ample parking available, it’s easy to swing by The Boundary for a quick coffee fix. However, why not make it part of a stroll along the River Mersey? The scenic riverside walk provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of the area before indulging in a comforting brew and a treat at The Boundary.
