Manchester Honey Company's honey is produced right in our neighbourhood and is sold by postcode. Perfect for food enthusiasts in Trafford and south Manchester, this honey lets them literally “taste their postcode” with varieties from M33 (Sale), WA15 (Timperley), WA14 (Altrincham), M41 (Urmston), M32 (Stretford) and M17 (Trafford Park).
The "M33 bees" are kept at the Society for Abandoned Animals, a wildlife haven. The taste is influenced by the delicate nectar of early spring willow and lime trees and the later blossoms of wildflowers that gracefully blanket the River Mersey's banks. Light orange colour, mid consistency with pleasant citrus and floral aftertaste.
In 2023, this honey won two stars in The Great Taste Awards, so it's a real winner!
