Not interested in the World Cup? The pubs and bars in Sale NOT showing the games

Two cocktails on a bar

Whether you’re avoiding the 2022 World Cup in protest at the host country's human rights record, or have simply never been a football fan, we’ve been on the hunt for some of the Sale pubs and bars that won’t be showing games.

Cork of the North

A glass or two of vino is the ideal way to avoid the football. Sale’s favourite independent wine bar and wine shop has a relaxed atmosphere and staff are on-hand to encourage you to try a selection of new wines.

Jackalope

A great place in Sale to meet friends who also aren’t interested in the latest footie scores. A champion of local suppliers, Jackalope is open for breakfast and powers through until midnight. So whether you fancy coffee or a cocktail, they have you covered.

Num6er

Num6er’s lively atmosphere makes this a great place to catch up with friends you haven’t seen for a while. With a bar packed full of all sorts of gin and whiskey, there’s sure to be a drink with your name on it.
