A LOOK INSIDE: Caldo Lounge, Waterside Plaza Sale

All-day café bar Caldo Lounge has opened in Sale.

The new Waterside Plaza venue, from the Loungers group, has launched in the unit formerly occupied by Mano a Bocca.

The new opening has led to the creation of 30 jobs.

Loungers has transformed the Waterside Plaza site – you can expect heavily patterned wallpapers, tiling and stripped wooden floors, featured alongside oversized vintage sofas, upholstered lounge chairs, eclectic artwork and statement wall and pendant lighting, creating a variety of cosy and elegant drinking and dining areas to choose from.

Caldo Lounge aims to be a "real home-from-home" and will cater for all tastes throughout the day with a varied and innovative all-day menu.

It’s open from 9am seven days a week, with an all-day menu featuring everything from tapas and salads to burgers and buttermilk fried chicken. It offers separate gluten-free and vegan menus, which is likely to be well-received locally.

Caldo Lounge is dog-friendly and is the 249th Lounge to open in the group.
