The best brunch menus in Sale

Over the last few years, brunch is where it’s at, with lots of Sale restaurants and cafes offering dedicated brunch menus – especially at the weekend. 

We recently surveyed our Instagram followers, asking them “What’s your favourite brunch spot in Sale?” Over 200 people responded and these were the top choices, plus a couple from us that we really recommend. 

Of note: The list is not a ranking, it's alphabetical!

This popular Sale cafe has a tasty breakfast/brunch menu that include pancakes, avocado on toast and perfectly brewed coffee. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a peaceful morning alone, àmphora promises to leave you with a smile and a satisfied belly.

The breakfast-brunch menu is served until 2pm throughout the week and weekend.

Brunch from Blanchflower

Blanchflower Sale 

With its own bakery just above the serving floor, there’s little wonder that Blanchflower’s dishes are so fresh on arrival. Brunch favourites include their eggs benedicts and asparagus hummus on toasted sourdough bread, fried duck egg and crispy onions.

Canteena Bar & Grill

Brunch highlights at Canteena include chimichurri steak and eggs, smashed avocado and eggs Florentine. Due to the size of the venue, it’s a perfect spot for larger weekend gatherings. 

Brunch is served Tuesday - Saturday 11.30am-3pm

Jackalope 

One of the hottest Sale brunch spots, Jackalope stands out for its commitment to using some of the best local suppliers. The brunch menu features a variety of delicious options, such as their full breakfast using Taylor's of Sale sausage and smoked bacon. Don't miss their specialty coffee from Kickback Coffee, perfectly complementing dishes like the avocado on sourdough toast and their indulgent French toast with a caramel twist. Great ingredients, used well ensure you’ll never leave disappointed!

Brunch is served 9am - 4pm.

An all-day brunch experience to savour! The brunch menu features a variety of eggs Benedict with various toppings, and the classic avocado on sourdough. A standout is their Welsh rarebit, topped with streaky bacon, egg, crispy onions and crispy chilli oil on toasted sourdough.

Brunch is served all day.

Offering a unique fusion of traditional Indian street food with a modern, sometimes Scottish, twist. The menu features inventive dishes like the roti breakfast wrap on bhatura bread with Punjabi scrambled egg, the hearty Scotsman's ‘Full-Indish’ and the flavoursome Scotsman's omelette. And don't miss their distinctive take on beans on toast!

Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 12-5pm

Brunch is served Monday to Friday 8am-2.30pm | Saturday 8.30am-2.30pm | Sunday 9am-4pm
