The Friends of Worthington Park Picnic in the Park returns for summer, with performances from Footsteps Dance School, Pictor Academy, Sale Brass Band and more.

The afternoon includes funfair games, arts and crafts workshops, face painting, stalls and a fun dog show in conjunction with Sale’s favourite dog shop, B&V Trading.

Paddle down the canal

On those balmy summer days when you're feeling a little adventurous, what could be more enticing than a paddle down the Bridgewater Canal with GripAdventure? Whether you're a seasoned paddle enthusiast or a complete novice, the friendly team at GripAdventure ensures a safe and fun experience for all.

Lather on the sunscreen and embrace the calming ripples of the Bridgewater Canal. And if you fancy a break mid-way, you can stop by Walton Perk, Sale’s narrowboat cafe located near Walton Park, for a quick pick-me-up.
